Good American Sued for $100K by Model
Good American, the fashion line founded by Khloe Kardashian, is currently facing legal action in a lawsuit filed by a model named Jourdan Whitehead, who alleges that she was not paid on time.
Seeking just over $100,000 in damages, the plaintiff’s case brings attention to the ongoing issue of fair compensation and timely payments in the fashion industry, shedding light on the need for greater accountability and transparency.
Reportedly, Jourdan was set to receive her paycheck by December 10, 2021, but did not receive payment for another three months on March 11, 2022. So, she sued the fashion line, and it is reported that she is entitled to an award of penalties in the amount of $105,000.00. Not only that, but Whitehead is also seeking to have the fashion line pay for her attorney’s fees and other related legal costs too.
