Brenda Corrie’s golf career
Corrie had a sparkling career at Wake Forest, where she had won five times as a senior, then she turned into a professional and competed on what’s now known as the Epson Tour.
She won her first tournament in 1988, the Chattanooga Classic, with a final-round 66, including two chip-ins.
The athlete was eliminated in the the1995 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship finals. After that, Corrie also competed for the United States in two Espitiyo Santo Trophy competitions, where she finished in the second position in 1996 and first in 1998.
After that, she again turned into a professional golfer, but after two years, with no LPGA status, it was not for her; hence she recovered her amateur status.
